Thank for you visiting my site. I'm an arts administrator, musician, and writer. At the core of my multifaceted career is the conviction that the arts transform and empower.

Arts Administrator

I currently serve as Director of Strategic Partnerships for Orpheus Chamber Orchestra in New York City, where I focus on grantwriting and foundation, government, and corporate relations. As former Marketing Manager for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, I also have significant experience in project management, advertising, and collateral production. I serve on the board of directors for contemporary vocal ensemble Quince, and was previously a board member for Chicago new music collective Ensemble Dal Niente.

Equally at home in orchestral and chamber music settings, I perform throughout Chicago and the Midwest. I previously served as Acting Associate Principal Oboe and Solo English Horn of the South Bend Symphony (IN), and have also held positions with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and Northbrook Symphony. Recently I gave a recital of music by Clara Schumann and other women composers at the Interchurch Center in New York City. Other recent appearances include the Wicked Broadway tour, the Pine Mountain Music Festival, the Peoria Bach Festival, and numerous early music collaborations at the University of Notre Dame. I've performed with the Fort Wayne, Akron, and West Michigan symphonies, and performed under Esa-Pekka Salonen, Sir Mark Elder, and James Gaffigan. I hold a Master of Music from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music from Baldwin-Wallace College, and studied with Michael Henoch, Elizabeth Camus, and Lawrence McDonald. Be sure to check out my upcoming performances and listening page.

I'm a regular contributor to The Clyde Fitch Report, a publication at the nexus of art and politics. I also have extensive experience writing and editing performing arts copy.

I have over ten years' experience teaching all levels and ages. In July 2015, I travelled to the Cange region of Haiti to join an international volunteer faculty at the École de Musique Sainte Trinité grand camp. I've served as Adjunct Associate Professor of Oboe at the University of Notre Dame, and performed throughout Chicagoland schools as a member of the Chicago Civic Wind Quintet.

Based in NYC and the Midwest, I'm a native of Springfield, OH. I enjoy reading, running, practicing French, travelling, and planning my next adventure. To view my full resume, please visit my Linkedin profile or contact me.
